LEATHERS: 

-2 leather pockets have a softer catch and more ball-feel; this is most preferred. 

-4 leather pockets require longer break-in time but have a unique traditional feel.

FIRETHREADS: 

-Offered here as shooting strings, Firethreads have GripPrint which grips the ball unlike anything else on the market. More grip means decreased ball-spin within the pocket (ball-spin is most noticeable on bounce-passes in which the ball rapidly rotates which makes it very difficult to catch and control).

-Increased snap and hold: GripPrint holds on to the ball longer than typical nylon, resulting in powerful shots and a snappy release.
